Information for high school
Fall of 9th grade is the time to decide what school you/your student is going to for their 10th grade year. Even if you live in the boundaries of your school choice you will need to pre-register starting mid January (you need to pre-register because you have been at a charter school and the district does not have your information to roll over to the next year). If you are asking for a variance or permit for your student to go to an out of boundary school you will need to start applying in January, then pre-register after you are accepted.
Things needed to pre-register for 10th grade
- Copy of student transcript from previous school (9th grade) - I send this home with your student after the end of 2nd term
- Test scores (let your schools know that they are sent with their cumulative file at the end of the year).
- Immunization Records
- Birth Certificate
- Proof of residency (3 types, i.e., Phone bill, power bill, letter from government, current vehicle registration, copy of mortgage, UT ID card, drivers license, voter registration) or copy of your varience/permit if outside of boundary.
- Copy of IEP (Individual Education Plan) if applicable. (Ask Ms. Harmon for a copy if you don't have your copy.)
